  • RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

    Returns and Cancellations

    If you find that the item(s) you have ordered are unsuitable for your needs, then you may return them. We offer a 7-day return policy.  Please send the goods, your Returns Number and Returns Form with your item(s) to us, so that we can process the return. Any 'Free Gifts' received with the product must also be returned.

     

    Please call  0800 044 5882  to acquire a Returns Number. Only when a Returns Number is issued, can you return the goods to us. Any items returned to us without a Returns Number and a Returns Form, will be returned to you at your expense.

    Please note: All carriage charges are non-refundable, and shipping costs for returned goods will be carried by you. All shipping charges exclude VAT.

     

    All items that are returned unused, undamaged, unfitted and in original packaging, can be refunded in full. Lights & Sirens UK reserves the right, however, to refuse a full refund if the items show evidence of tampering or installation. In all cases, the purchaser shall be responsible for costs relating to return postage of correctly supplied goods, unless previously agreed otherwise. Damaged/faulty goods must be returned first for inspection, before a replacement/refund may be offered.

     

    Please note: Lights & Sirens UK does not operate a 'try before you buy' policy. If you wish to return goods which are not faulty, You will receive a refund, excluding shipping costs, and may be subject to a 20% re-stocking charge, OR the cancellation may be free of charge, provided you return the product complete, unused and packaging undamaged, and in 'as new' condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product in any way.

  • RETURN OF FAULTY GOODS

    Return of Faulty Goods

    The following are guidelines. Wherever possible, Lights & Sirens UK will respond to your individual circumstances. To qualify for a refund or exchange the product must be in an 'as new' condition. In addition to your statutory rights, if you wish to return goods outside of the 7-day cancellation period, we operate a 14-day faulty returns period.

     

    Goods found to be defective within 14 days can be returned for a full refund or replacement. Goods found to be tampered with by the customer will not be replaced, and will be returned at the customer's expense.

     

    If your goods arrive faulty or defective, or a fault/defect becomes apparent in the first 14 days after delivery, Lights & Sirens UK will either provide a full refund or despatch new replacement goods as soon as possible after the faulty goods have been returned and tested.

     

    If your goods arrive damaged, it is imperative to keep the parcel, its packaging and its contents, in order to assess the damage. If the damage is discovered during the delivery, you must report potential damage on the 'proof of delivery', and/or refuse the delivery. Failure of entering reservations upon delivery may invalidate any warranty claim. No claim for damages will be taken into account without explicit photos of the objects that are damaged and the packaging of the parcel. You will be compensated if it is established that the carrier is liable for the damage.

    Only when a Returns Number is issued, can you return the goods to us. Any items returned to us without a Returns Number and a Returns Form, will be returned to you at your expense.

     

    Please Note: Any items, faulty or otherwise, returned to us without a Returns Number and a completed Returns Form, will be returned to you at your expense.

     

    All goods returned as faulty or defective will be fully tested by our Returns Department to confirm that they are in fact faulty. In the event that the item is not faulty, it will be returned and shipped back to you at your expense. All goods must be returned and shipped via recorded delivery. If you choose another method of return, you must bear the costs and provide proof of delivery. Any product returned damaged will be returned at your cost, and a refund will not be granted. Items that fail, due to a manufacturer’s fault, after the first 14 days, must be returned before a replacement will be sent.
